Frequently Asked Questions

How do I enroll?

The enrollment process helps create a safe play environment for all of our dogs. First, we schedule an evaluation to make sure your dog does well in a group setting away from their people. If everything goes well then you will fill out a registration and you are good to go!

Do I need a reservation?

Initial Evaluations require reservations. Overnight boarding and grooming require reservations. Daycare is open to reservations or just drop by.

Does my dog need to be spayed or neutered?

All dogs over the age of one year must be spayed or neutered.

How does the evaluation work?

We require an evaluation for all new clients before accepting any reservations so we have a chance to meet your dog and see how they do in our daycare environment. During the evaluation we are looking for several things: -How your dog interacts with dogs and staff -If your dog seems anxious entering and leaving -If your dog shows signs of aggression -Does your dog understand dog social cues? If the evaluation goes well you may leave your dog for daycare that day if you would like.

What are the hours for drop off and pick up?

6:30 am to 7:00 pm on weekdays and 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekends.

What do I need to bring for a boarding reservation?

We provide beds, blankets, and food bowls; you just need to provide the food (and the dog!). You can bring bedding from home but understand that it will be part of the communal area. Please don't bring toys as dogs can be possessive of their own items. It is strongly recommended to bring your dog's food as sudden changes in diet can lead to diarrhea. If you forget your dog's food we can supply premium dog food for an additional charge.

How far in advance do I need to request a boarding reservation?

The more notice the better but we understand that sometimes the unexpected occurs and you need lodging quickly. In those situations a "heads up" is appreciated!

Do I need to bring food if my dog is boarding?

It is strongly recommended to bring your dog's food as sudden changes in diet can lead to diarrhea. If possible, food should be portioned into individual meals. If you forget your dog's food we can supply premium dog food for an additional charge.

My dog is sick can he/she still come?

If your dog is sick please do not bring them to daycare. If we notice irregular stool or other signs of illness your dog will be separated immediately and depending on the severity, the owner will be called so the dog can be picked up. Because we are a free-range daycare we cannot allow sick dogs in the facility.

Is my dog able to go outside?

Absolutely! Your dog has free access to a 1000sqft fully fenced outdoor area with artificial K-9 Grass developed specifically for dog daycares.

What happens if my dog gets sick or need medical attention?

You will be contacted immediately while our staff cares for your dog. Several members of our staff are certified in pet first aid, so your dog will be in good hands until you’re able to pick them up. If you are unable to pick them up and your dog needs immediate medical attention our staff may need to transport the dog to a veterinarian.
